Crime Watch


Petty Theft

On Feb. 25, pants containing IDs and university keys valued at
$95 were removed from the Ackerman Plaza stage.

That evening, a wallet valued at $75 was stolen from a room in
Rieber Hall.

On Feb. 26, a cell phone was stolen from a backpack in the John
Wooden Center.

On Feb. 27, a $250 cell phone was stolen from the De Neve Podium
Building Lobby.

Grand Theft

On Feb. 24, books valued at $500 were stolen from the Molecular
Sciences Department.

Also on that day, a watch valued at $120 and a laptop valued at
$1,900 were stolen from an apartment on the 500 block of
Veteran.

On Feb. 25, a vehicle at the north side of Cogen was stolen.

That same day, a vehicle on the 500 block of Kelton was broken
into and a CD player, walkman, and CDs valued at $925 were
stolen.

Also on Feb. 25, a $2,000 laptop computer was stolen from Powell
Library.

On Feb. 27, $15,000 in University funds was removed from
Campbell Hall.

Later on that day, a stereo and sound system valued at $1,200
was removed from a vehicle in Lot 11.

Also on Feb. 27, a $2,000 scooter was stolen from the motorcycle
lot north of 595 Charles E. Young Drive East.

Miscellaneous

On Feb. 24, the driver side windows of a vehicle in the Broxton
Parking Structure were smashed.

On Feb. 25, a suspect kicked a person four times in the arm at
the Center for Health Sciences.

On Feb. 27, a man was seen looking through windows on the 500
block of Gayley.

Later on that night, three suspects were caught smoking
marijuana near Hedrick Hall.

On Feb. 28, a hit-and-run occurred at Maloney’s.
