A note on endorsements

This weekend, the Daily Bruin’s editorial board met with
all Undergraduate Students Association Council candidates it
considered for endorsement and conducted individual interviews
ranging from fifteen minutes to an hour. We also conducted
independent research to assess the extent of involvement candidates
have had on campus while at UCLA. Endorsements were made by
considering candidates’ individual strength and potential for
the office they are seeking, in relation to the strength of
opponent candidates running for the same office. The final decision
rested on a thorough consideration of everyone’s ideas.
