Tyler Ebell began the year as a punt returner and the
team’s third option at running back.
He finished as the team’s leading rusher, netting 994
yards and 10 touchdowns despite starting only eight of the
Bruins’ 13 games.
Ebell had six straight 100-yard rushing games, including a
203-yard performance in a 43-35 win over Oregon State.
This streak kept the Bruins in contention for the Rose Bowl
until the end of the season.
No more will teams underrate the 5-foot-9, 171 lb. running back
because of his size.
