What do you expect of the UCLA football team this season?
Ananya Sreepathi Third-year, biology “I
don’t think they’re going to beat ‘SC this year.
They might make one of the lower bowl games, but they won’t
compete for the Pac-10 title.” Chris Hyatt
Fourth-year, philosophy “I think they’ll do
one game or two games better than last year. I would like to see
them beat USC. I think they have a chance, but they probably
won’t beat them.” Gyron R. Makasiar
Fourth-year, communication studies and sociology “It
would be good for UCLA if the football and basketball teams did
better this year. I hope they do better. I think the football team
will show some improvement. Everything seems headed in the right

biochemistry “It will be nice if they beat
‘SC, but (UCLA) kind of sucks at the present. The new coach
and the players have to work together. I went to two games last
year, and it was pathetic.” Stephanie Kim

think they can do any worse than last year, but I think
they’ll do a lot better with the new coach.”
