It’s been a quiet week as the UCLA men’s volleyball team prepares for its opening match of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament this weekend. Grant Sugimura and Tanner Walters – two of the three Daily Bruin men’s volleyball beat writers – break down the season finale and look ahead at the upcoming Hawai’i matchup.

Listen in as Grant and Tanner give their thoughts on where the team stands and its chances going forward.

Tanner Walters |
Alumnus

Walters joined the Bruin as a freshman in 2014 and contributed until he graduated in 2018. He was the Alumni director for the 2017-2018 academic year, Editor in Chief for the 2016-2017 academic year and an assistant Sports editor for the 2015-2016 academic year. Walter spent time on the football, men's basketball, men's volleyball, men's soccer, men's water polo and rowing beats.

Grant Sugimura |
Alumnus

Sugimura joined the Bruin as a freshman in 2015 and contributed until 2017. He was an assistant Sports editor for the 2016-2017 academic year and spent time on the women's basketball, men's volleyball, women's volleyball, beach volleyball, men's soccer and swim and dive beats.
