Students from the disability studies minor taught Braille to students on Bruin Walk on Wednesday morning. The students aimed to educate the campus about different types of disabilities for Disability Awareness week. UCLA students learned to write their names and favorite phrases in Braille, or grade one alphabet code. This event was sponsored by the UCLA disability studies minor program.
