Josh Rosen will miss the rest of the season. The sophomore quarterback did not make the trip to Colorado with his team Thursday.

Coach Jim Mora told a Fox sideline reporter that the quarterback is officially out for the year, per Southern California News Group’s Thuc Nhi Nguyen.

Rosen took multiple hits, including three sacks, in a loss to Arizona State earlier this season. Trainers attended to Rosen in between drives in the game.

Mora finally lifted Rosen for redshirt senior Mike Fafaul in the fourth quarter. Fafaul has taken every snap since, losing to both Washington State and Utah.

The Bruins take on the No. 15 Colorado Buffaloes at 6 p.m. Thursday – without Rosen.
