As of 9 p.m., a large tree had fallen on Bruin Walk outside Drake Stadium. Bruins Safe Online indicated at the time that there were no major changes to campus operations.

Winward was the 2025-2026 editor in chief and sat ex officio on the editorial board. He was previously the 2024-2025 News editor and the 2023-2024 features and student life editor. He was also an Arts, Copy, Online, Photo, PRIME and Sports contributor. Winward was a fourth-year English and statistics and data science student.
