All customers of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power who lost electricity have now had their service resumed, except in areas where fire authorities have asked for the electricity to remain switched off, according to a press release from LADWP.

The department is working to restore water pressure to the Pacific Palisades area and is working with fire authorities to support their response, LADWP said in the press release. LADWP customers experiencing fire-related hardship should reach out to the department to discuss billing options, according to the press release.

“For any one whose properties have been destroyed, we understand that during this extremely difficult time, receiving billing notices can be especially stressful,” LADWP said in the press release. “We are pausing billing and reminder notices to areas directly affected by the fires and we encourage any customer experiencing hardship as a result of the fires to reach out to us.”
