No. 3 seed UCLA men’s volleyball defeated No. 2 seed Hawaiʻi in three sets before being swept by No. 1 seed Long Beach State in the final round of the NCAA championships at the Covelli Center in Columbus, Ohio. Over the two nights, the Bruins notched 40 kills on a .370 clip and 29 kills on a .192 clip against the Rainbow Warriors and the Beach, respectively. Despite marking its third championship appearance in three straight seasons, UCLA failed to clinch what would have been its 22nd overall title.
