Attorneys representing the UC Board of Regents and Bernardo highlighted a post on Twitter – now known as X – from Olivia Truong, a student of Klein’s who claimed he has a history of sending inappropriate emails. Shiekman was then asked if he believed the post alone would be enough to impact Klein’s employability as an expert witness.

Shiekman testified in response that the main factor behind why Klein remains unemployable is his suspension and Bernardo’s email. Truong’s claim alone would not have been enough, Shiekman said.
