Gallery: Bruin Hindus’ Diwali celebration provides space to connect with Indian culture

Sparkling saris and kurtas reflected auburn and turquoise colors across Ackerman Grand Ballroom as students gathered for Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. Bruin Hindus, a UCLA student organization, held the celebration Nov. 14. The event featured Indian food, henna art and performances from student clubs. The annually held Diwali celebration provides a space for students to connect with Indian culture and tradition.
