The blares of brass trumpets and chants echoed through UCLA’s campus as over 1,000 people joined a Wednesday walkout across campus to protest against the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement campaign. Hundreds also demonstrated Friday on campus as part of a nationwide strike against increasing ICE activity. The walkouts were sponsored by campus organizations, including multiple Undergraduate Students Association Council offices, the UCLA Afrikan Student Union, Bruin Democrats and Students for Socialism.
