Gallery: The Situations’ path to Spring Sing spans years of UCLA collaborations

(Leydi Cris Cobo Cordon/Daily Bruin senior staff)

The Situations is a five-member ensemble with pop boy band and indie rock influences that formed in October. Before starting The Situations, Chet Breister, Ryan Estes, James Harris, Matty Gottesman and Max Wright overlapped in several bands throughout their time at UCLA. This June, four out of five members will graduate, joining Estes as UCLA alumni.

“This band – it’s more than just a side project,” Wright said. “It’s more than something we just did in college.”
