Weezer cranked out two hours of ‘90s jams at Crypto.com arena Saturday night.
The four-piece alternative rock band completed the North American leg of its “The Gathering” tour, which promoted the self-titled “Gold Album,” alongside opening acts Silversun Pickups and The Shins. The narrative-driven set featured the band members assembling to perform in a young fan’s backyard gathering.
Weezer performed 26 songs across its discography while responding to a staged power outage with an acoustic segment, welcoming a supernatural duet and featuring audience members dressed in gold on the arena screens.
