UCLA alumnus, Piti Sukavivatanachai, sings and plays guitar for the Santa Barbara-based experimental-rock band, Freaks in the Wild. They will be performing alongside a number of other bands on Saturday at Operation Montezuma in Los Angeles. The band uses improvisation in both their recordings and shows to keep things fresh. Dengue Fever, a Cambodian psychedelic rock group, will provide a live score to the stop-motion film “The Lost World” in Royce Hall today as a part of the UCLA Live concert series. The band was formed by Ethan Holtzman and his brother, inspired by Holtzman’s trip in 1997 to the Southeast Asian country.
