Alumnus writes play “100 Days” inspired by Taiwanese tradition to cope with mother’s death
Will has 100 days to get married. In Taiwanese Buddhist culture, if a parent passes away before his or her child has wed, that child has 100 days to get married in order to ensure that the parent's spirit transitions peacefully or risk their soul lingering for three years. Playing until March 20 at the LOFT Ensemble, "100 Days" follows Will struggling to accept his mother's death, and her faith. Read more...

Pau Hana performance features studio courses from world arts and cultures department
