Fourth-year ethnomusicology student Cameron Hovsepian will perform his original acoustic music at Fowler Museum tonight. Hovsepian will be performing along with ethnomusicology alumnus Jake Jamieson, who will be playing percussion. Hovsepian has recently performed in Spring Sing in Pauley Pavillion, a larger, less intimate venue than that of tonight’s perfomance.


SLAM! Concert tonight will feature talented student musicians, former American Idol contestant Andrew Garcia and local band The Beat Advocate

The Getty Villa, a museum located in Malibu, will host College Night on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m., an event that will include free food, live music and behind-the-scenes tours. The Getty Villa features displays of classic art and architecture from ancient Greece, Etruria and Rome; students will have the opportunity to see up close and touch glass objects and materials used in ancient art. The Getty Villa will also begin using iPod Touch multimedia players, which will guide students through the galleries.
