Fewer UCLA commuters are driving to campus alone than ever before

More commuters are forgoing driving alone to UCLA compared to county-wide commuting trends. UCLA reached its lowest drive-alone rate ever in 2018, according to a press release from UCLA Transportation. Read more...

Student groups to launch campus-wide events for Disability Awareness Week

Student organizations and campus resources gathered at Bruin Plaza on Monday to kick off Disability Awareness Week. Representatives from the Undergraduate Students Association Council Facilities Commission, UCLA’s Disabilities and Computing Program and the UCLA Center for Accessible Education were among the organizations that participated in DAW, an annual series of events on campus intended to raise awareness for people with disabilities. Various student government officials unite at UCLA for leadership conference

Student government leaders deliberated how to hold administrative officials more accountable and increase student engagement at a conference Sunday. Indian tribe awards UCLA Law $1.3M to help develop legal institutions

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians awarded over $1.3 million to the UCLA School of Law for its Tribal Legal Development Clinic. The clinic will focus on up to four legal projects each year under the terms of the grant. Read more...
