Attendees of “Remembering UCLA’s Latino Forefather,” gathered at Founder’s Rock to celebrate Reginaldo Francisco del Valle, a Latino state senator who introduced legislation in 1881 establishing the Branch State Normal School in Los Angeles, which later became UCLA.
