Students claim to be incorrectly charged by UCLA Housing

Several students living on the Hill are complaining that UCLA Housing charged them for tampering with red emergency sanitation bags they claim they never touched. Marcella Pensamiento, a second-year political science and economics student, voiced her concerns at the All Hill Town Hall meeting Wednesday night, during which students living on the Hill gave feedback and expressed concerns to UCLA Housing representatives. USAC found in violation of election code amendment procedures

The Undergraduate Students Association Council violated the election code after failing to follow bylaw amendment procedures, according to the UCLA Office of the Campus Counsel. The council violated its constitution and election code when it voted to limit student political group campaign spending this month without first appointing an election board chairperson and not meeting voting requirements.
