Bruins on the Street: Tuition hike

Two weeks ago, a University of California Regents committee voted to approve a tuition hike for the next five years depending on state funding. Daily Bruin Video asked a few students their thoughts on the recent tuition hike proposal and the California Senate Democrats’ alternative proposal to raise nonresident tuition by 17 percent and cut funding for the Middle Class Scholarship. Ongoing Tiverton Drive closure creates frustrations for cyclists

The closure of Tiverton Drive for the construction of a new UCLA Health building has drawn criticism from some cyclists and the UCLA Bicycle Academy. The construction of the Teaching and Learning Center for Health Sciences has been ongoing since September 2013 and is expected to end in fall 2016, according to a university statement. Read more...

Hundreds of dining hall lockers broken despite renovations
