Vote on USAC support for Prop. 13 reform postponed

Undergraduate student government officials postponed a vote on a resolution calling for Proposition 13 reform on Monday. Undergraduate Students Association Council External Vice President Maryssa Hall drafted the resolution, but pulled it from the Tuesday meeting agenda after learning that multiple council members would not be able to attend the meeting. Hunger Project at UCLA provides free SAT prep to LA students

USAC endowment avoids loss with UCLA Foundation refund

The undergraduate student government will receive about $6,500 from the UCLA Foundation, after a miscommunication about administrative costs involved with an endowment for student programing. Last school year, the Undergraduate Students Association Council established a $100,000 endowment with the UCLA Foundation, a business entity that manages investments for the university.
