Bruin MimiQ Soong reflects on her role, journey to Miss Taiwanese American Queen

Miss Taiwanese American is an annual competition hosted by the Taiwan Center of Greater Los Angeles dedicated to “empowering women and embodying the beauty within,” according to the competition’s website. ASUCLA Board of Directors recap – Aug. 30

The ASUCLA Board of Directors held its second meeting of the 2024-2025 term Aug. 30. The board, which is composed of a student majority, has financial oversight over ASUCLA entities, including the Undergraduate Students Association Council, the Graduate Student Association and the ASUCLA Communications Board – which oversees UCLA Student Media. UCLA announces ASUCLA meal swipes will only be accepted at lunch hours weekdays

This post was updated Sept. 9 at 11:41 a.m. UCLA Housing announced a new policy on Friday that makes meal swipes only accepted at ASUCLA locations during weekday lunch hours.  Starting this fall, meal swipes will no longer be accepted for breakfast, dinner or weekends at ASUCLA affiliated restaurants, according to an email to students living on campus from UCLA Housing.
