A jury found former UCLA gynecologist James Heaps guilty of sexual misconduct Thursday. The trial began Aug. 9 after a grand jury indicted Heaps, a former faculty member at the David Geffen School of Medicine, on 21 counts of felony sexual assault in May 2021. Heaps was found guilty on three counts of sexual battery and two counts of sexual penetration, according to NBC. Read more...
