Measures US, LL propose funding, redistrict changes for LA Unified School District

‘Black mold, leaky roofs’: Proposition 2 puts $10B for school repairs on ballot

California voters will decide next Tuesday whether to approve a $10 billion bond for school renovations. If passed, Proposition 2 will allow the state to sell $8.5 billion in bonds to repair K-12 schools and $1.5 billion in bonds to improve community college campuses, said Steven Brint, a distinguished professor of public policy and sociology at UC Riverside. Measure ll plans to clarify existing administration policies, cut outdated rules

This post was updated Nov. 3 at 11:58 p.m. Voters will get to vote on changes to city administration in November. If passed, Measure II will make adjustments to the Los Angeles City Charter to codify administration policies set by the city, including the powers of airport commissioners to set fees and for city-owned venues to sell merchandise.
