Community members talk transit benefits, issues at TransportationCamp LA

‘An authentic take on LA’: Westwood businesses look back on a year of expansion

Several new businesses opened in Westwood during the 2023-2024 school year, providing new opportunities for dining, recreation and other services to the Westwood community. Los Angeles City Council requests report on LAPD action at UCLA, USC encampments

Study finds microbusinesses contribute to lower unemployment rates, boost economy

A joint report from GoDaddy’s Venture Forward and economists at the UCLA Anderson Forecast found that online microbusinesses contribute to lower rates of unemployment. The study, released in March, found that one entrepreneur opening a microbusiness with a GoDaddy domain and website creates about seven new jobs through direct and indirect hiring and boosts local economies.
