Los Angeles World Airports rejects plan to restore FlyAway bus service in Westwood

Los Angeles World Airports rejected an initiative by the North Westwood Neighborhood Council to restore the FlyAway bus service in Westwood. The NWWNC passed a community impact statement April 3 requesting the LA Board of Airport Commissioners and City Council to conduct a study and reestablish the FlyAway bus service from Westwood to LAX. Harbor-UCLA OB-GYN residents publish study on accuracy of fetal weight estimations

Harbor-UCLA, former orthopedics chief part ways amid sexual misconduct allegations

Former Harbor-UCLA Medical Center orthopedics chief Dr. Louis Kwong, who currently faces several allegations of sexual misconduct, is no longer employed by the hospital. Chief Medical Officer Griselda Gutierrez informed orthopedics staff of Kwong’s departure March 13, though the hospital refused to clarify Thursday if it was voluntary or forced, the Los Angeles Daily News reported Friday.
