UCLA study links fasting to mitochondrial splitting

UCLA researchers found that fasting increases the splitting of mitochondria, which may have implications for metabolic and aging-related diseases. Lawrence Kruger, UCLA professor and performing arts supporter, is dead at 93

Lawrence Kruger, an emeritus distinguished professor of neurobiology and supporter of the performing arts, died July 12 in Los Angeles. He was 93 years old. He is survived by his wife Virginia, two daughters and three grandchildren. Read more...
