USAC passes resolution to create student-run grocery store on campus

USAC to scale back JazzReggae Festival in wake of deficits
The undergraduate student government will significantly downsize the JazzReggae Festival this spring to account for previous festivals’ financial deficits. UC mandates sexual harassment e-course for faculty
University of California faculty and supervisors will be required to take an online course intended to inform them about new sexual harassment and assault policies. By the end of January, the UC will launch two new e-courses that will quiz faculty members on the systemwide changes in sexual assault investigation policies, said UC spokesperson Rebecca Trounson. Assemblymen introduce bill to cap nonresident students on UC campuses
A bill brought to the California legislature Tuesday will limit the number of out-of-state students that can be enrolled at the University of California. If approved, Assembly Bill 1711 would cap the out-of-state and international student enrollment for undergraduates at 15.5 percent across the nine UC campuses. Read more...
