Westwood business owners struggle to obtain liquor licenses
If local workers want to get cocktails at happy hour after work, they have limited options in Westwood Village. The Westwood Neighborhood Council, which advises the city on alcohol permit applications, imposes conditions on businesses’ alcohol sales because state guidelines restrict the number of businesses that can sell alcohol in the district. New crosswalk coming to Westwood between Weyburn and Kinross
Westwood residents and visitors will soon be able to use a new crosswalk on one of the longest blocks in Westwood Village. A new pedestrian crosswalk is under construction on Westwood Boulevard between Weyburn and Kinross avenues, after the Westwood Village Improvement Association approved it last year. Read more...

Saturday BruinBus destination changes from Santa Monica to Hollywood
