Westwood officials are discussing increasing parking opportunities in Westwood Village. The Westwood Village Improvement Association’s Parking, Access and Transportation Committee plans to take over maintenance of the Broxton Avenue public parking garage, advertise private parking spaces and implement a districtwide valet service. City of Los Angeles to add about 20 trees to Westwood Boulevard
The city of Los Angeles will plant about 20 trees along Westwood Boulevard between Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards in the next few months. Roozbeh Farahanipour, a Westwood Neighborhood Council board member, said between 80 and 90 trees in the designated area were removed, cut or vandalized in the past several years and have not been replaced. Sushi burrito trend rolls into Westwood with new restaurant Nushii
Students can now get sushi burritos at a restaurant that opened Nov. 21 on Broxton Avenue. Nushii is one of four restaurants in Los Angeles that partners with the Monterey Bay Aquarium to serve humanely caught fish in its wraps, bowls and salads. Read more...
