Westwood Village bar O’Hara’s will close Saturday, and an Italian bar and tavern will move in at the corner of Gayley and Weyburn avenues. University police are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a UCLA student at a party in the North Village early Friday. The student was at a party on Gayley Avenue near Strathmore Drive about midnight when an unknown man approached her and sexually assaulted her, according to a UCPD alert. Read more...

Criminal activity in Westwood increased by 22 percent in 2015, the first increase in crime rates since 2003, police officials said.
