UCLA Academic Senate approves Monday remote class, further modifications undecided

This post was updated Jan. 10 at 10:58 p.m. UCLA students will not return to in-person instruction Monday. In a Friday afternoon BruinPost to members of the UCLA community, Chancellor Julio Frenk announced that the UCLA campus will continue to curtail its operations for at least three more days, adding that the UCLA Academic Senate has allowed remote classes to go ahead Monday. False evacuation warning sent out across Los Angeles County

Westwood residents received an erroneous evacuation warning Thursday afternoon. The notification was sent out around 4 p.m. and instructed people that they were under evacuation warning. Read more...

UCPD arrests one person for Engineering IV building assault and robbery

The UCLA Police Department arrested one person Tuesday suspected of multiple crimes including assault and robbery.  According to a UCPD Instagram post, officers received a report from a facilities worker alleging that they were assaulted by the suspect. Read more...
