Arnold Schwarzenegger does not strike me as a very smart guy. This week he declined to debate Gov. Gray Davis in front of a national audience on “Larry King Live.” In this past Wednesday’s debate, for which the candidates conveniently had the questions given to them in advance, Schwarzenegger did not venture far from the rehearsed responses and standard facts on which he has relied throughout his campaign.
