UCLA baseball faces a change-up in format against Long Beach State

At the halfway point of the regular season, UCLA baseball will face a familiar opponent, but with an unfamiliar twist. The Bruins will take on the Long Beach State Dirtbags (13-14) for the second time this year, but two of the three games – on Friday and Sunday – will be played on the road at Blair Field in Long Beach. Team effort allows UCLA to rally past Loyola Marymount

Tuesday night, No. 21 UCLA demonstrated how every small contribution can be the difference between winning and losing. Junior infielder Chris Keck, redshirt sophomore outfielder Christoph Bono and freshman outfielder Kort Peterson scored a run and an RBI each, while two other Bruins scored a run each to give UCLA a 5-3 win against Loyola Marymount.
