UCLA defeats Kansas State 40-35 to win Alamo Bowl

SAN ANTONIO —  Though UCLA’s season is now done, the Bruins showed they were anything but in their season finale. After racing out to a 31-6 lead, Brett Hundley, Eric Kendricks, Paul Perkins and the UCLA football team saved their best for last, and held on for a 40-35 win over Kansas State in the Valero Alamo Bowl. Bowl game pits Bruins against challenging opponent

Quarterback Kansas State: Two-year starter Jake Waters improved upon his 2013 campaign with a solid senior season this year. Waters completed 66.2 percent of his passes, throwing for 3,163 yards and 20 touchdowns to just six interceptions en route to earning second-team All-Big 12 honors. Read more...
