Momentum shift in LA football rivalry began with 38-28 win over USC

Following a UCLA football practice in April, a young boy walked up to Anthony Barr, hoping the linebacker would autograph a picture. Receiving the enlarged photograph and a Sharpie, the senior outside linebacker proceeded to sign a still image of himself clobbering then-USC quarterback Matt Barkley for a sack in the fourth quarter of last year’s rivalry game. UCLA still fired up for USC game despite elimination from Pac-12 race

USC had nothing to lose. At the L.A. Memorial Coliseum two years ago, in their last game officially under the lockdown of a two-year bowl ban, the Trojans treated their final home game against the Bruins as an all-in-one national championship and Pac-12 title game. Read more...
