Mora preps team for Nevada’s new Tampa 2 defense

UCLA and the University of Nevada - Reno will both kickoff the season looking for a fresh start after combining for a 1-5 record to close the 2012 season. No part of either team will be greener than the secondaries. Nevada is the only team of the two to return a starter to the defensive backfield, although that player, senior Charles Garrett, will be making a transition from cornerback to safety. Read more...

UCLA offensive line works to curtail sacks

Though quarterback Brett Hundley’s been working on a new slide throughout fall camp, a stronger, older offensive line has been trying to keep him upright. UCLA’s offensive line allowed 52 sacks last season, good for the third-highest sacks-per-game total in the entire FBS. Read more...
