Freshmen golfers fight to prove themselves under mentorship of senior teammates

Four young Bruins joined UCLA men’s golf this September, and while some were thrown straight into the fire, others have been fighting for the spotlight. The one freshman who has seen time in the lineup this fall is freshman Sean Maruyama, while Rory Feng, Ahmed Ali and Bryan Wiyang Teoh have been playing in individual tournaments. Read more...

Women’s volleyball uses first part of season to shuffle and optimize lineup

The Bruins had a couple of large roles to fill heading into this season. Graduated seniors outside hitter Reily Buechler and setter Sarah Sponcil led UCLA women’s volleyball last year with 3.53 kills per set and 11.23 assists per set, respectively. Read more...
