Students react to continued demands to fire coach Steve Alford

Twitter is abuzz with infuriated UCLA basketball fans. Bruin Walk? Not so much. As mobile billboards calling for the firing of coach Steve Alford made appearances around campus Wednesday – continuing a string of actions demanding his release – the Daily Bruin set up shop at the newspaper stand outside of Ackerman Union to gauge reactions from the general student body. UCLA baseball suffers four Tuesday pitching mishaps, hopes to improve

UCLA beach volleyball twins defeat top-ranked Pepperdine

UCLA invitational to prepare track and field for title run

The UCLA track and field team will host ten schools this weekend in what it will treat as a trial meet. The Bruin Legends of Track and Field Invitational is a two-day meet open to both college and high school competitors, slightly lowering the intensity of competition for the Bruins. Read more...
