UCLA baseball throws away season-opening series against UNC

Gymnastics pulls through with strong performances for win over Washington

UCLA gymnastics narrowly avoided what would have been an uncharacteristic loss to Washington on Sunday afternoon in Seattle. An exceptional set of beam routines in the fourth rotation helped widen the Bruins’ slim 0.10 lead to a final score of 196.675-196.450. Read more...

UCLA women’s tennis beaten but bolstered in match against No. 1 Cal

The momentum of the match was on the verge of shifting as sophomore Terri Fleming served for match point. A strong serve followed by an effective backhand slice caused Cal’s Olivia Hauger to hit an unnecessary lob shot, setting Fleming up for the easy smash and a victory on court five. Read more...

UCLA softball has weekend of mixed results at Mary Nutter Classic

The UCLA softball team was anything but consistent this weekend. After a successful road trip last week in which the Bruins went 4-1, they experienced a series of peaks and valleys this weekend at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City, California, finishing with a 3-2 record over the course of three days. UCLA track and field distance medley relay team sets new school record

The UCLA men’s distance medley relay quartet was right on the bubble. The NCAA Indoor Championship meet takes the top 12 distance medley relay teams from across the country, and heading into the Alex Wilson Invitational in Notre Dame, Indiana this weekend, the Bruins held the 12th spot.
