Men’s basketball overcomes UC Santa Barbara to maintain 8-0 record

UCLA hasn’t meshed well with the Big West lately. Last season, the Bruins’ freshman honeymoon was thrown off course in just its second game when UC Irvine strolled into Pauley Pavilion and took UCLA to overtime. The Bruins escaped with a one-point victory but were caught sleeping just four games later against Cal Poly, who handed UCLA its first home loss of the 2012-2013 season. Read more...

Jim Mora signs contract extension with UCLA through 2019

On Tuesday, UCLA announced a six-year contract extension with coach Jim Mora that will extend through 2019. This past Saturday, Mora led UCLA to a 35-14 defeat of crosstown rival USC, making him the first UCLA football coach since Bob Toledo in 1996 and 1997 to win his first two games over the Trojans. UCLA football players named to All-Pac-12 teams, receive individual honors

Four different UCLA football players were voted by Pac-12 coaches to all-conference teams, the conference announced Monday. Junior offensive lineman Xavier Su’a-Filo and senior outside linebacker Anthony Barr were each named to the All-Pac-12 First Team for the second year in a row, while freshman outside linebacker Myles Jack was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team Defense. Redshirt junior inside linebacker Ryan Hofmeister was also named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team for his play on special teams this season. Read more...



Women’s volleyball falters in final season matches, misses NCAA bid
