Basketball freshman Wanaah Bail to miss four months
On Tuesday, UCLA Athletics announced that men's basketball freshman forward Wanaah Bail underwent left knee surgery on June 28 to repair torn cartilage. Bail is expected to miss four months while he rehabilitates the damaged cartilage, effective from the date of his surgery. Read more...

UCLA football names six players to national award watch lists
This past spring, redshirt senior wide receiver Shaquelle Evans made it clear he was after a spot in UCLA football's history books as its single-season receiving yards record holder. Three months later, it appears his expectations are being taken seriously, as the Inglewood native was named to the 2013 preseason Biletnikoff Award watch list Tuesday along with 74 of college football's most highly touted wide receivers.
