Junior guard Lazeric Jones led the Bruins with 18 points on Saturday, coming back from Thursday’s scoreless performance against Arizona. Jones also had six rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Jasmine Dixon came up a bit gimpy after taking a flagrant foul against the Sun Devils on Thursday, but the junior forward was more than coherent against the Wildcats Saturday. The All-Pac-10 performer finished with 22 points and nine rebounds during the UCLA women’s basketball team’s 70-60 win over Arizona, using her deft footwork to glide around stagnant Wildcat defenders. Basketball once again survives a late-game collapse to put Sun Devils away 73-72 in overtime
