M. track: Track aims to host more meets

In the first round of the NCAA Women’s Tennis Individual Championships, both UCLA singles players lost on Monday. Freshman Daniela Bercek had to retire in her second set to Oklahoma’s Anda Perianu and forfeited her match losing 7-5, 4-4. Read more...

Amid a sea of collegiate and professional throwers at the Hartnell Throwers Meet, one Bruin athlete proved UCLA’s future looks bright. While often overshadowed by the accomplishments of senior All-American Dan Ames, redshirt sophomore Jeremy Silverman’s marks put him in position to lead the Bruin throwing corps once Ames graduates.
