UCLA women’s tennis individual championship brings new opportunities and redemption

The Bruins will depend on their underclassmen to serve up redemption as they vie for individual championships. After bidding farewell to the NCAA team tournament in the Sweet 16, a trio of Bruins will represent UCLA women’s tennis in Orlando, Florida for the singles and doubles tournaments beginning Monday. UCLA baseball falls to Arizona State in final regular-season series

Freshman left-hander Chris Grothues took the mound Saturday in the bottom of the eighth inning with the game and series each tied at one apiece. Making his collegiate debut, Grothues recorded two outs before facing outfielder and former UCLA player Nick McLain with the chance to keep the game tied. Read more...

Liberty shocks UCLA softball, eliminating Bruins early from NCAA tournament

Marking historic upset, UCLA softball falls to Grand Canyon in NCAA regionals

Just one game into the postseason, the Bruins are now one loss away from it all coming to an end. No. 2 seed UCLA softball (52-6, 21-3 Pac-12) lost to Grand Canyon (47-11, 17-7 WAC) by a 3-2 score in the first game of the NCAA Los Angeles Regional on Friday evening. Read more...
