Sophomore midfielder Jenna Richmond (7) saw her first action since coming back from an ACL injury in Friday’s game against Cal State Northridge, playing 43 minutes as a substitute. The Bruins beat the Matadors, 2-0, in their opening road game of the season, displaying skill from incoming players.
After the United States men's national team debuted a new head coach in Jurgen Klinsmann, so did the UCLA women's soccer team in B.J. Snow. However, Snow is much more familiar with the Bruins than Klinsmann with the Americans, as Snow has been with the program for the past five seasons serving as an assistant. Read more...
