Women’s soccer sustains consecutive losses against Virginia, Texas

Women’s soccer sets new goals after scoreless tie in exhibition game

On paper, Wednesday’s friendly between No. 4 UCLA and Missouri might seem like an inconsequential preseason kick-about between two women’s soccer teams. But, even though neither team managed to find the back of the net at the end of the 90 minutes, the Bruins left the North Athletic Field with a handful of goals of their own to work toward for the rest of the season. Women’s soccer looks to continue winning records with young team

Just two seasons after being appointed coach of UCLA’s women’s soccer team, Amanda Cromwell has set a strong standard of winning for the Bruins. In her first season as coach in 2013, the Virginia native helped bring UCLA its first national championship in women’s soccer, in an unforgettable 1-0 golden-goal victory against Florida State.
