Photo: Both together and individually, members of the UCLA gymnastics team brought championships to Westwood in 2009. UCLA won its 15th Pac-10 title to close out the regular season, and seven Bruins were named to the Pac-10 All-Conference Team, including junior Vanessa Zamarripa, who was named Pac-10 Gymnast of the Year. In the NCAA Championship, UCLA had 11 scores of a 9.9 or higher, which led the Bruins to their sixth national title. After UCLA won it all as a team, Zamarripa went on to win an individual championship in the vault, while senior Brittani McCullough won in the floor exercise.
